Kraken got off early first period and Golden Knights couldn’t score

The Golden Knights couldn’t score any goals during the first period of the new year and had only had ten shots on goal in the first period. The Kraken got things started with a goal at almost the five minute mark. The Kraken goal was scored by Eeli Tolvanen who recorded his tenth goal of the season and was assisted by Vince Dunn who picked up his 25th assist of the season and also getting an assist in the game was Adam Larsson who recorded his ninth assist of the season.

The goal was off a rebound shot the Kraken had and was tipped in. The time of the goal was four minutes and 50 seconds in the first period. The Kraken also had ten shots on goal in the first period. The Golden Knights played good defense during the period and keep it with one goal.

Vegas struggled and still couldn’t score second period

Vegas was playing another period of good defense but couldn’t score during this period and had ten shots on goal during the second period. The Kraken scored early during the second period and making the game two to nothing for the Kraken against the Golden Knights the goal was in the early two minutes in the second period. The goal for the Kraken was scored by Will Borgen, his first goal of the season and was assisted by Tye Kartye who recorded his sixth assist of the season.

Also grabbing an assist was Eeli Tolvanen who recorded his 13th assist of the season. The time of the goal was two minutes and 19 seconds. The Kraken ended up shooting ten more shots on goal during the second period and had a total of eleven shots on goal.

Kraken scored one more time to make game 3-0

The Kraken scored one more goal during the third period against the Golden Knights making the game three to nothing Kraken. The Kraken ended up winning with this goal and Joey Daccord recorded his first ever shoutout at the Winter Classic. The goal for the Kraken was scored by Yanni Gourde who recorded his fifth goal of the season. The time of the goal was two minutes and ten seconds.
