NFC East

2023 NFL Draft Needs: NFC East

Day Two of our look into the NFL Draft takes us to the east coast of this great land called the United States. The NFC East took a major jump last season, going from the laughing stock of the NFL to a division with three playoff teams, one of whom made it all the way to the Super Bowl (PHI). It will be important for each of them to keep pace with each other. The winner of that division should be a major player to get a chip.

Dallas Cowboys:

Needs:

TE, RB, DL, WR, CB, LB, OG/C

#26, #58, #90, #129, #176, #212, #246

1st-Round Prediction:

DAL moves up to get Michael Mayer. Jerry Jones loves ND Irish-bred players

New York Giants:

NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles:

Needs:

CB, EDGE, DL, RB, S, OT, OG/C

Picks:

#10, #30, #62, #94, #219, #248

Prediction:

All The Usuals are trying to stand-out by predicting PHI will move their #10 pick. Jalen Carter’s name (Georgia/DT) keeps getting thrown around. I’m gonna keep it logical.

There’s four CBs rated in the Top 15.

That’s a top-need position for them.

One of them is bound to be available at #10. Devon Witherspoon (Illinois) is a good fit.

Washington Redskins (Commanders for the easily-triggered):

Needs:

CB, OT, OG/C, QB, TE, LB, S

Picks:

#16, #47, #97, #118, #150, #193, #215, #233

Prediction:

WAS has plenty of needs, but the most glaring (IMO), is a signal-caller. The QB position is the one inconsistency WAS has had since Kirk Cousins left for MIN. With their defense & Rivera ideology, they are a suitable QB away from being a real player in the NFC. They will make a play for Will Levis (Kentucky/QB) as a solution to that problem.
