July 27, 2020: Interview with the Arizona Republic

“I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season, I think we should take that much of a stand….I’m going to protest regardless, I’m not going to be out there for the national anthem. If the league continues to want to play it, that’s fine. It will be all season long, I’ll not be out there. I feel like more are going to probably do the same thing. I can only speak for myself….At the Olympics, I understand, you’re playing for your country at that point….I’m glad I’m able to look to my left and to my right at my sisters and see we’re all together fighting,”  – Brittney Griner

So there you have it. Straight from the horse’s mouth.

America isn’t for her. She just lived there, benefited from American society, and was able to professionally play basketball. America was the land of slavery, intolerance, and historical systematic racism & prejudice

Nevermind the fact that she was a gay, black woman allowed to make money playing underwater men’s basketball. Sorry, fans of make believe; it’s true. WNBA players look like men playing in water; slower, heavier, less athletic. Ever seen a girl do a 360 dunk or a windmill jam? Throw the legs? Alley-oop?

Yeah. Didn’t think so.

Now, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t athletes in their own right. But the majority of people don’t watch women’s sports. And if you listen to that Wokester bozo Megan Rapinoe about equal pay for female athletes, understanding nothing about economics and the actual advertising/television contracts women’s sports produce, then you’d also probably think America is unfair. The part they tend to leave out is LIFE ISN’T FAIR

FAIR is a relative term.

Not only that, but in terms of FAIR, America produces the most FAIR opportunities for individuals across the board. It may not be moving fast enough for some people, but for most of us, it’s doing just fine.

Brittney Griner did what the majority of thirsty, glad-handing athletes, media/entertainment companies, team executives did; they went all-in on WOKE. This meant Black Lives Matters patches & decals on jerseys, celebrating victimhood on social media, and being purposefully outspoken about the issue of the day.

As a gay, black woman, there is no doubt that Brittney Griner had almost certainly experienced racism, prejudice, homophobia, etc. in her life. Therefore, she had plenty of skin in the game. The only problem with being woke is there are rarely conversations with opposition about possible solutions to problems. The most mentally ill of humanity gets to play victim, screaming & crying as loud as they possibly can to get the attention they feel they deserve. And the whining is so loud, it drowns out the needed voices to allow growth to happen. It’s an unfortunate mess.

Ever try to reason with a child throwing a temper tantrum?

Same concept. Only difference is they all wear JNCOs, have purple hair, tattoos, nose-piercings, and walk around with retractable poster boards to protest at a moment’s notice. Think 1994 American treasure PCU (Politically Correct University). 2:25 mark should give you a clear picture of what I’m talking about.

Further proof that if we don’t learn from history, then we’re doomed to repeat it.

The other problem was the branding behind being woke. Every image consultant & handler was “encouraging” their clients to jump on the Woke Train; even now, as it is barreling towards tracks leading off a cliff into a pile of explosives on top of a pool of sharks with laser beams attached to their frickin’ heads. Famous Folk absolutely had to put on their favorite all-black political activist costume & march in some protest they normally wouldn’t have given two shits about, but had to because you were afraid of losing your job. Fear drove this movement more than belief, and its driver was CANCEL CULTURE.

Cancel Culture became the leading fear of celebrities who didn’t bow at the altar of Woke. God forbid you being black and not doing so. You were immediately branded an “Uncle Tom” or “not the right kind of black” (just ask the Democrat politician from Massachusetts, Rep. Ayana Pressley). And by disrespecting the American flag, you got a seat at the cool table. Naturally, Griner was eager to jump on that bandwagon.

So, she kneeled & complained, locked arms with her sisters (this included the ones bullied into it), and shunned the ones not willing to participate in the movement.

The movement! The movement!

Nevermind all that America has done to aid EQUALITY *which it should be noted, is very different from EQUITY

Equality creates an equal playing field for success, but the outcome is still merit-based.

Equity, on the other hand, is outcome-based; no matter how undeserving. People who like screwing a certain way, play dress-up a certain way, and/or have a certain tint to their melatonin are to be thrust to the front of the line; even if that means leap-frogging the people worked tirelessly to earn a seat at the table.

Fun Fact about Women’s Sports:

-The United States has MORE professional women’s sports leagues than any other country.

-The United States STARTED MORE women’s sports leagues/associations than any other country.

*1st Women’s Softball League (1976)

*1st Women’s Baseball League (1943)

*1st First Female Jockey to win a horse race (Lula Olive Gill, 1906)

*1st Women’s Lacrosse League (2016)

*2nd Women’s Ice Hockey League (2015)

The 1st was started in Canada in the 90’s, financially collapsed, was rebirthed, and surprise surprise, collapsed again.

*1st Women’s Basketball League (1997)

*1st Women’s Golf Association (1950)

*1st Women’s Tennis Association (1973)

*1st Women’s Volleyball Association (1986)

*1st Women in Motorsports, 1st Women’s Soccer League…

You get the point. America has always been the leader of civil rights advocacy. This doesn’t mean that America has solved the issues surrounding equal opportunity, but it has certainly set the tone for advancement of the historically underrepresented. It doesn’t mean that there isn’t human suffering happening inside the USA, but we certainly provide more opportunities to build a life than any other place.

Seen any of the border towns lately (Yuma, El Paso, and Brownsville just to name a few)?

How about those braggadocious Sanctuary Cities whose citizens criticized Southwesterners for wanting tighter border security, only to begin crying on television “IT’S NOT FAIR”  once they started getting 1% of the daily crossings the border towns experience? Does it look like the world’s citizens share the same complaints as American movie stars & entertainers? Hardly.

For those of us who have actually traveled outside America & have seen the parts of the world where kangaroo governments, dictatorships, & suffering civilian populations exist, we have experienced how bad it can look. The underrepresentation (egregious in some parts of the world) was front and center. It was a gift that allowed us few to no longer take our situation for granted.

Unfortunately for Griner & the many others who take their spoiled lives for granted, every single day, don’t realize how good they have it until it’s gone; just how great this country is until they need Her.

August 4th, 2022: Griner tries smuggling drugs like a dummy

“American women’s basketball star Brittney Griner was convicted of deliberately smuggling drugs into Russia and sentenced to nine years of jail time Thursday…”

On February 17th, 2022, Griner was flying from New York to Moscow, opting to spend the WNBA offseason in Russia playing for UMMC Ekaterinburg. Griner was toting her hash-oil around like she was back in Phoenix. Problem was, Griner was in Mother Russia; a place that considers THC a narcotic substance.

Word is, she had a vape pen. If I’m logically connecting the dots, she’s a weed addict who couldn’t go 9 hours (length of the flight from JFK International to SVO in Moscow) without smoking, so she brought her gear on the plane so she could get high like a true dummy. A drug-sniffing canine locked in on her, and she wound up in Putin’s pokey.

Here’s where the delicious irony comes into play.

All of a sudden, the people who were most outspoken with anti-American propaganda were the first to beg America to help get her back:

“Griner’s wife, Cherelle Griner, has publicly called for the release of her wife. USA Basketball, the Women’s National Basketball Association, the Phoenix Mercury and the WNBA players’ union have all publicly shared their concerns for Griner.”

How quick all of these organizations were to dismiss American pride…..while expecting them to still do their bidding.

“Russia has some very, very strict LGBT rules and laws” – though it’s not clear whether those rules and laws might impact Griner’s case.

Russia has passed LGBTQ-related legislation and outlawed the “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations around minors.”

*DING DING DING*

That’s the sound of the SJW dinner bell. You better believe social activism & politics entrenched her situation.

Enter the wokesters:

“…The Biden administration is working on trying to get Griner out of Russia, members of the Congressional Black Caucus said after meeting with President Joe Biden on March 7.”

Game On.

To be continued….
