Vegas Golden Knights late three goals in third period to win the game

Neither team scored first period

Both teams had a quiet first period not scoring any goals in the period. The Penguins in the game had six shots on goal. The Golden Knights had eight shots on goal. The Vegas Golden Knights had no penalties in the first period. The Penguins had two penalties in the period. The first penalty of the game was at three minutes and 15 seconds and the penalty was on Noel Acciari who tripped up Chandler Stephenson. The last penalty in the period on the Penguins was on Drew O’Connor tripping up Brayden McNabb at the 12 minutes and 56 seconds.

Penguins scored two goals in the period

The first goal for the Penguins was scored by Ryan Graves who recorded his third goal of the season and was assisted by Erik Karlsson who recorded his 25th assist of the season the other player got assist was Evgeni Malkin who recorded his 22nd assist of the season. The time of the goal was at nine minutes and two seconds.

Before the second goal by the Penguins the Vegas Golden Knights got a penalty and put the Penguins on the Power Play but the Penguins did not get a power play goal the Golden Knights shut them down. The penalty on the Golden Knights was on Nicolas Roy for holding Ryan Graves. 

The Second goal and last goal for the Penguins. This goal happened three minutes and 19 seconds after the penalty expired for the Golden Knights. It also was five minutes and one second after the first goal the Penguins scored. The goal was scored by Jake Guentzel who recorded his 20th goal of the season this goal was assisted by Sidney Crosby who recorded his 21st assist of the season and also grabbing assist was by Marcus Pettersson who recorded his 16th assist of the season. The time of the goal was 14 minutes and one seconds.

The Vegas Golden Knights scored three goals in the period to come back. The first goal was scored by Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his 20th goal of the season and was assisted by Ivan Barbashev who recorded his eleventh assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist was Alec Martinez who recorded his fourth assist of the season. The time of the goal was at five minutes and 18 seconds.

The tying goal for the Vegas Golden Knights was scored by Pavel Dorofeyev who recorded his sixth goal of the season and was assisted by Chandler Stephenson who recorded his 17th assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist was Mark Stone who recorded his 32nd assist of the season. The time of the goal was at six minutes and 52 seconds.

The go ahead goal was scored by Brendan Brisson who recorded his first goal of the season and he grew up watching Sidney Crosby. Grabbing the assist for Brisson’s first goal of the season Ivan Barbashev recorded his 12th assist of the season and his second assist of the game. The other player who recorded is Alex Pietrangelo 17th assist of the season. The time of the goal was at nine minutes and 40 seconds.
