Golden Knights Couldn’t beat Sabers in Series finale 7-2

First Period all Sabers

The Buffalo Sabers scored an early goal not even two minutes into the game they scored a goal making the score one to nothing Sabers. The person who scored the goal was Jeff Skinner who was unassisted for the goal. Skinner recorded his 20th goal of the NHL season. The time of the goal was one minute and 55 seconds.

Golden Knights and Sabers play evenly match

The Sabers started the period off with a short handed goal with less than a minute into the period and it was scored by Dylan Cozens who is recording his 13th goal of the season and he was unassisted for the goal. The time of the goal was 53 seconds.

The Golden Knights found a way to score two goals to tie the game but the first goal was a Power Play Goal that was scored by Dylan Cozens who is recording his second goal of the season and was assisted by Nicolas Roy who picked up his 23rd assist of the season and also grabbing the assist was Paul Cotter who picked up his 14th assist of the season. The time of the goal was one minute and 46 seconds.

Vegas scored the tying goal three minutes and 18 seconds after they scored their first goal of the game. This goal would be the Golden Knights last goal of the game and they wouldn’t be scoring any more after this one.William Karlsson is the person who scored the goal to pick up his 21st goal of the season. Grabbing the assists off of the Karlsson goal was Jonathan Marchessault who picked up his 21st of the season for assists also Paul Cotter picked up his second assist of the game and his 15th assist of the season. The time of the goal was four minutes and 28 seconds.

Near the 15 minute mark the Buffalo Sabers scored another goal to make the game a three to two game going into the third period. The goal was scored by Zemgus Girgensons who recorded his seventh goal of the season and grabbing the assist was Eric Robinson who picked up his sixth assist of the season. The time of the goal was 14 minutes and 46 seconds.

Third Period all in for the Sabers

The Buffalo Sabers scored four goals in the third period and two of which happened within the ten minute mark and the others late into the third period. The first goal happened at two minutes and 20 seconds and was scored by Kyle Okposo who picked up his 12th goal of the season and he was assisted by Jeff Skinner who picked up his 18th assist of the season and Casey Mittelstadt who picked up his 33rd assist of the season.

Four minutes and six seconds later the Sabers scored another goal this time at the six minutes and 26 second mark. The goal was scored by Owen Power who picked up his fourth goal of the season and picking up the assist was Jacob Bryson who grabbed his fourth assist of the season and also Eric Robinson who picked up his second assist in the game and his seventh of the season.

Casey Mittelstadt scored a team power play goal during the 12 minutes and 18 second mark of the third period making Mittelstadt record his 14th goal of the season. Grabbing the assist was Owen Power who picked up his 18th assist of the season and also grabbing the assist was Jeff Skinner his second assist of the game and his 19th assist of the season. 

Towards the end of the game the Sabers scored at the 17 minute and 12 second mark making this goal a short handed goal that was scored by Dylan Cozens who picked up his 14th goal of the season. Grabbing the assist was Owen Power who also picked up his second assist of the game and his 19th assist of the season the other player was Henri Jokiharju who picked up his eleventh assist of the season.
