The Moon Has Predicted That The Kansas City Chiefs Will Win It All

By CJ Carlson

The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing to face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl next weekend, and apparently one team will have an edge. Well, that’s according to the moon at least. And yes, you are reading that correctly.

Waxing Crescent Moons Help The Kansas City Chiefs

Sources indicate that we will be getting a waxing crescent moon over in Las Vegas on the night of the Super Bowl, something that favors the Chiefs. In the last five years when the moon is in a waxing crescent phase, the team has won 19 of their 20 games. Their only loss out of that entire cycle came in 2021 as well. I believe it was a loss against the Buffalo Bills in October.

Not that this type of statistic needs much reference, but the San Francisco 49ers haven’t fared nearly as well with this type of moon phase. They have only been able to go 15-15 in their last 30 games with a waxing crescent moon. This all might sound like useless information, but you never know the types of things that can give a team an edge.

The stats go much deeper than just the phase of the moon as well. Somebody has taken the time to research the illumination, and the moon age at the time of the moon phase when each game has taken place over the last five years for the Chiefs. The most recent experience that the Chiefs have when winning with a waxing crescent came this year, on January 13th against the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card Round.

For anybody out there who is looking to place a bet on one of these two teams to win the Super Bowl, this might be more than enough compelling information to roll with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and company.
