The Warriors tonight shook off last night’s loss versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and beat the Detroit Pistons 120 to 109.  This game helped the Warriors to improve their road record to five and one. The Warriors also tonight  overcame a rough shooting night and were able to  hit just 12 of 41 3-point attempts (29.3 percent)  by outscoring the Pistons by 20 points in the paint (52-32).

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Chris Paul combined for 68 points in the game. Curry scored a total of 34 points and Paul and Thompson both with a total of 17 points each.

Chris Paul tonight Gary Payton for 37th all time in scoring. Paul And Lebron James are the two only players in history to have 20,000 points and 10,000 assists. Gary Payton’s son Gary Payton II is one of Chris Paul’s teammate.

The Warriors have one more road game to finish their four game road trip the next stop is to Denver and they play on Wednesday. The Nuggets are the defending champions. Then they return to the Chase Center on November 11th to face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
