Thompson moves to eighth all time in three pointers

Tonight Klay Thompson is making history in the game with three pointers. Thompson tonight scored two three pointers in the first quarter of which he passed Vince Carter for eighth all time shooting three pointers and this is where he hit the milestone. Thompson would finish the game with six three pointers.

Warriors unstoppable second quarter

The Warriors in the first quarter gave up 40 points to the Celtics this was the most of all season long for them. However midway through the second quarter the Warriors got hot and went on a 15 to two run and made the score 56 to 54 at the half.

Paul making history

Chris Paul tonight made a franchise record 12 assists and zero turnovers and he tied a franchise record and this is Chris Paul third game this season with ten plus assists and zero turnovers. He joins players such as Tim Hardaway from the 1990-91 NBA season and also Mugsy Bogues from the 1997-98 NBA season. These two players are the other Warriors to record this statline. This stat started getting recorded in the 1977-78 NBA season.

The Warriors extended their season long six game winning streak at home and improved to seven and six at home this season.  The Warriors and Celtics will meet up one last time in Boston on March third 2024. This game was the Warriors 490th consecutive sellout, the longest streak in franchise history. Trayce Jackson-Davis recorded his first double double of the season. How he did it was scoring ten points and adding a career-high 13 rebounds. Kevon Looney extended his combined games-played streak to 255 (regular season and playoffs), the second-longest active streak in the NBA (Mikal Bridges) and the seventh longest such-streak in franchise history. Also Looney extended his regular season games-played streak to 220, the ninth-longest streak in franchise history and the second-longest active streak in the NBA (Mikal Bridges).
