Warriors on a 16-4 first quarter run

The Warriors started the game trailing eleven to two to begin the game but then the Warriors went on a 16 to four run to take a three point lead 18-15 Chris Paul nailed a step back three at one point one second to give the Warriors a two point lead after the first quarter 30-28.

Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins both had seven points each during the first quarter. Defensively the Warriors held the Magic to being held eight for 23 shooting in the quarter which is 35%.

Stephen Curry scored eight straight Warriors points in the second quarter and all of the shots are from inside the arc. He converted a four point play with three point five seconds left until halftime. Curry scored eleven points in the second quarter and was five for eight shooting.

Kuminga starts new year off right

Jonthan Kuminga tonight scored double figures in 12 of 13 games in December, including six games with at least 15 points. Kuminga begins the New Year off like how he ended last year in 2023 he scored 19 points and was seven for 14 for shooting. Kuminga also grabbed six rebounds in the game then dished out four assists in the game and then recorded three stocks which is two block shots and one steal. 

Wiggins makes Warriors history

Andrew Wiggins tonight has now tied Baron Davis for tenth all time with making three pointers. The number of three pointers is 434 of them. Wiggins has spent four and half seasons in the Bay Area and he averaged a career two point four per game last season. Wiggins will move ahead of Baron Davis if he makes one more three.

Next for Warriors

The Warriors will have tomorrow off and then play the defending champions Denver Nuggets at home on Thursday. Then on Friday the Warriors will face off the worst team of the NBA Detroit Pistons.
