Fixing some early turnovers problems
During the game Warriors in the first quarter committed nine turnovers in the game and it was tied the same amount they did this season. Seven of the turnovers the Warriors had were during the Trail Blazers 21 to six run. The Warriors also gave the Trail Blazers their largest lead in the game with eleven points.
During the second quarter the Warriors did clean up their act and only had two turnovers during this quarter. During the span of this quarter the Warriors out scored the Trail Blazers 24 to nine and gave the Warriors a eight point lead.

Chris Paul during the game dished out a total of eleven assists in the game. This is his third consecutive game with double digit assists. Chris Paul has 33 assists and only two turnovers over this stretch. Paul during this game is one of six players in ten games with ten or more assists and he is the only one in this group that comes off the bench. During this game Paul set the tone with a Warriors season high of 38 assists.
