Zack Greinke still wants to pitch another season at age 40

Six-time All-Star Zack Greinke, wants to pitch another season after going 2-15 with a 5.06 ERA last season with the Kansas City Royals.

If Greinke finds a finds a team, he has a chance to become the 20th pitcher in MLB history to record 3,000 strikeouts. He currently sits at 2,979 career strikeouts

Greinke has pitched for six teams over his 20 career. The Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and the Houston Astros and has been one of the top pitchers in baseball.

Greinke’s best season was in 2015 with the Dodgers. He completed the season with an 19-3 record and a 1.66 ERA in 222.2 innings and 200 strikeouts.

Possible landing spots for Greinke include the New York Yankees, Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies.
