Max Verstappen Winning streak continues

Post Race talks

Max Verstappen converted his pole position run to win the race and hold off his teammate Sergio Perez and Ferrari rival Carlos Sainz for the win. This win starts Verstappen defending his title on a good note and perfect way. It also gave RedBull a good start to repeat in the constructors championship as well.

Race itself

The race itself has no wrecks, nor a safety car in the race. At the start of the race we had a tangle up with Lance Stroll of the Aston Martin and the Haas of Nico Hulkenberg having a tag up but it ended up Hulkenberg losing his front wing and making a pit stop to change his front wing.

Williams had a hard time with the race

Williams had a difficult time to open the race Alex Albon had to cool off his car mid race which gave Albon a 15th place finish and his teammate Logan Sargeant brought at tail end of the field he was fighting with a steering wheel problem.

Locks up for Leclerc

Charles Leclerc during the race had a couple lock up of the tires during the race. One such instance was when George Russell closed in on him and caught up to him to use DRS on him to pass him in turns 4 & 5 with the latter’s fall down the order and was compounded with heavy lockups sending him into the clutches of Sergio Perez.

Verstappen untouchable

Max Verstappen was untouchable with the lead and not giving up the lead at all during the race even during the green flag pit stops he didn’t give up the lead. When Verstappen made his pit stop he was 22 seconds in front and leading so even with a pit stop Verstappen was not caught but if there was a mistake during the pits it would be a different story.
