Broward County- The Broward County National High School Showcase is an annual high school football tournament hosted by ESPN and MaxPreps.
This showcase features the top high school programs from across the county facing off against the top programs in South Florida. These nationally ranked, blue blood programs from across the country, including Florida face off in head to head matches with national prowess on the line.
This year’s game slate featured the following matchups:

Miami Northwestern (FL) vs Coconut Creek (FL) 45-0 MNW
Lake Mary (Orlando, FL) vs Cardinal Gibbons (FL) 49-20 LM
#6 Milton (GA) vs #20 American Heritage Plantation (FL) 37-28 Milton
Hoover (AL) v Western (FL) 17-14 Hoover
#2 Bishop Gorman (NV) v #11 St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) 29-21 BG
#4 St. John Bosco (CA) v #9 Chaminade Madonna (FL) 34-27 SJB
As you can see, there was serious star power on display this past weekend, as every squad featured some of the top player talents and highest of high school recruits.
These high powered matchups were a thing of beauty, as almost every game was down to the wire, decided by one score. At the end of the weekend, Monarch was the lone South Florida team to defend Broward from a northern opponent.
