After breaking out for 18 hits in their second game of the AAC Baseball Championship, FAU would be matched up with Charlotte, looking to keep their season alive. With help from Jake Millan’s two home runs, the Owls were able to power past Charlotte, despite a late attempt at a comeback. After losing by run-rule in game one, and in heartbreaking extra inning fashion in game two, the Owls grinded out a game three win that secured them a spot in the AAC tournament in Clearwater.

FAU welcomed in the UTSA Roadrunners for a three game set this weekend to cap off the regular season schedule. The Roadrunners were dominant from the start, taking a commanding lead right from the jump, and putting the game out of reach early. FAU’s offense struggled to plate runs and keep the Roadrunners off the board in each inning. They’ll look to bounce back after being run-ruled for the second consecutive game.
