September 16th MLB Picks: Twins vs. Guardians SGP & Two Additional Player Props

The Guardians and Twins meet for a series that could very well shake the American League Central up with only a couple weeks left in the season. With Detroit pushing against the Twins in the race for the last spot in the American League Wildcard, these next four games against Cleveland are crucial to maintain their postseason hopes. After an almost flawless week of prop parlays, here’s a same game parlay for this series opener, and two additional props as well.

Minnesota Twins at Cleveland Guardians

Pablo Lopez (15-8) vs. Matthew Boyd (2-1)

Two-Leg SGP (+116): Carlos Santana Over 0.5 Hits + Jose Ramirez Over 0.5 Hits

Against the pitching matchups, both of these hitters have solid numbers and are all hitting well recently. Against Matthew Boyd, Carlos Santana’s hitting .286 in 35 at bats. In his last 18 at bats, Santana has eight hits and is currently on a five game hit streak. Against Pablo Lopez, Jose Ramirez has put up solid numbers in over ten at bats.

Ramirez is in the middle of an eight game hitting streak, and hits over .300 against Pablo Lopez. With how good he and Santana have been hitting lately, parlaying both to record a hit should be a good way to start off the week.

Additional Props

Pittsburgh Pirates at St. Louis Cardinals

Paul Skenes (10-2) vs. Andre Pallante (6-8)

Paul Skenes Over 6.5 Strikeouts

Skenes has a history of hitting the over on this line against the Cardinals. He has eight strikeouts in each outing against St. Louis, and the Cardinals bats are coming off of getting swept by Toronto this past weekend. With a sub-.200 batting average against Skenes, St. Louis should struggle, and Skenes should do what he does best and generate swing and misses.

Washington Nationals at New York Mets

Jake Irvin (10-12) vs. Sean Manaea (11-5)

Sean Manaea Under 4.5 Hits Allowed

The Mets rotation has been a massive part of keeping them in the mix for the final National League Wildcard spot. Sean Manaea has been very impressive the last month for the Mets. He hasn’t given up more than four hits since August 16th. It seems like Manaea has gotten into a groove to end this season and with this prop being plus odds, it has great value to take on its own.
