Cleveland Guardians at Detroit Tigers (DET Lead 2-1)
Tanner Bibee (0-0) vs. TBA
Guardians Moneyline
The Guardians face elimination and need to force a game five to get this series back to Cleveland. After a lackluster performance by the offense in game three, the Guardians lineup will need to bounce back to keep their season alive. With Tanner Bibee set to start on the mound, Stephen Vogt’s group has to put it together today.
Pitching Props: Tanner Bibee Over 4.5 Strikeouts
Tanner Bibee’s last outing against Detroit came in the initial game of this ALDS. He went less than five innings but still managed to tally six strikeouts. This over would’ve hit in every single start from Bibee since September 8th, and if he can go at least five innings tonight, should clear this line.
Hitting Props: Riley Greene Over 0.5 Hits, Colt Keith Over 0.5 Hits, Steven Kwan Over 0.5 Singles, & Josh Naylor Over 0.5 Hits
The Tigers have the chance to end this series tonight at home, and against Tanner Bibee put up solid numbers. They hit .301 against the Cleveland right hander with an .862 OPS. One of the best performers against Bibee is Riley Greene. In 13 at bats, Greene has recorded a .308 batting average, making his over 0.5 hits prop the first hitting prop for tonight.
After breaking his brief postseason slump, Colt Keith is the second hit prop pick for this game. Against Bibee, Keith has recorded a .400 batting average in 10 at bats. He’ll look to improve on those numbers tonight in efforts to send the Tigers to the ALCS.
While the Tigers haven’t announced who will be starting on the mound tonight, both Steven Kwan and Josh Naylor have been very key contributors in this series. Kwan leads the Guardians in hits this postseason, and with only one extra base hit makes taking the over 0.5 singles the pick.
Josh Naylor has put together great at bats all series, and has a hit in each game in this ALDS. He’ll be the final pick to record a hit tonight, rounding out our player props for this matchup.
New York Yankees at Kansas City Royals (NYY Lead 2-1)
Gerrit Cole (0-0) vs. Michael Wacha (0-0)
Yankees Moneyline & Yankees Over 4.5 Team Total Runs
The Yankeees cannot let this series go to five games, and it has to end tonight with Gerrit Cole on the mound. After seeing Michael Wacha already in the series opener, the Yankees offense needs to capitalize and overcome the Kauffman crowd to advance their way to the ALCS.
Pitching Props: Gerrit Cole Over 17.5 Outs
The former American League Cy Young has not looked like his 2023 self this season. Cole’s shown flashes of his expected dominance at various points at the end of the season, and he needs to bring that out tonight. At least six innings is needed out of Cole, and that’s what we’re tailing tonight.
Hitting Props: Juan Soto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115), Alex Verdugo Over 0.5 Hits, MJ Melendez Over 0.5 Hits, & Tommy Pham Over 0.5 Hits
Against Michael Wacha historically and especially in this postseason, Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo have been arguably the biggest contributors to this Yankee lineup. Soto has recorded a .429 average against Wacha, and Verdugo has recorded a .308 average.
The Yankees need a big game out of their offense just as much as they need Cole to shove tonight, and for that we’re going with Juan Soto’s over 1.5 total base prop at plus odds. With how big Verdugo’s come up this series, we’ll take his over 0.5 hits prop as the final Yankee player prop tonight.
For the props on the Royals side, two of the better hitters against Gerrit Cole are MJ Melendez and Tommy Pham. After their success in game one with Melendez home run and Pham’s four hard hit balls, we’re taking these two to record a hit tonight.
