New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers
Jose Quintana vs. Tobias Myers
Brewers Moneyline
The Brewers at home tonight in a winner take all game three need to come out and hit Jose Quintana early. The strong right handed hitters like Jackson Chourio, William Contreras and Willy Adames need to set the tone early in this game, and Tobias Myers needs to deliver at least three quality innings in his outing to get the Brewers set in a good spot to advance.
The Brew Crew has hit for a .303 batting average historically against Quintana, and in a big spot for their rookie on the mound tonight, the offense needs to back him with some run support to get the win and advance to the NLDS against the Phillies.
Tobias Myers Under 14.5 Total Outs
Again this is a very big spot for a rookie to pitch in. Myers last outing was less than 60 pitches and while that can be possibly attributed to a bunch of different things, his leash will most likely be short tonight, especially if he starts giving up hits. That makes the under 14.5 outs the play for our pitching prop tonight.
Jackson Chourio Over 1.5 Total Bases
One of the most fun players to watch in all of baseball throughout this Wildcard round has been Brewers rookie sensation, 20 year old Jackson Chourio. The speedy right hander has been playing an incredible left field all series and has been the biggest spark plug for this Brewers lineup. Coming off of a night where he hit two home runs and kept the Brewers season alive, we’re tailing Chourio again to tally over 1.5 total bases.
Willy Adames Over 0.5 Hits
One hitter that historically has done well against Jose Quintana is shortstop Willy Adames. While the right handed hitter hasn’t been hitting the baseball incredibly well lately, he has a .357 batting average against Quintana and last time he started a game against the Brewers, he ended up with two hits in the game.
William Contreras Over 0.5 Hits
One player for the Brewers who needs to have a big day at the plate is William Contreras. The Milwaukee catcher is coming off of a couple hits this series and in an elimination game needs to step up and show that leadership behind the plate to advance the Brewers to the NLDS. With a .375 batting average against Jose Quintana, he should be in great position to produce for Milwaukee tonight.
