Vegas Only had three goals compared to the Maple Leafs 7

Maple Leafs 7 – Golden Knights 3

All Toronto first period

The Toronto Maple Leafs scored a total of four goals in the first period and all of them came half way through the first period. The first goal came in the ten minute mark and was scored by Jake McCabe who recorded his sixth goal of the season and his goal was unassisted.

Then less then one minute and ten seconds later the Maple Leafs scored another goal off Vegas this time it was scored by David Kampf who recorded his fifth goal of the season and grabbing the assist was former Vegas Golden Knights Ryan Reaves who got his first assist of the season. The time of the goal was eleven minutes and ten seconds.

Three minutes and ten seconds later the Maple Leafs scored another goal this time it was scored by John Tavares who is recording his 17th goal of the season he was assisted by Nicholas Robertson who picked up his eleventh assist of the season and also grabbing the assist is Bobby McMann who picked up his eighth assist of the season. The time of the goal was 14 minutes and 20 seconds.

Later the last goal of the period came two minutes and nine seconds after the Maple Leafs made the score four to nothing and left the Golden Knights scoreless in the first period. This goal was scored by Max Domi who picked up his sixth goal of the season. Domi’s goal was assisted by William Nylander who picked up his 44th assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist was Tyler Bertuzzi who picked up his 16th assist of the season. The time of the goal was 16 minutes and eleven seconds.

Vegas got on the board second period only once

The Vegas Golden Knights got on the board early in the second period with less than a minute into the first period and it was only 51 seconds into the second period this goal for Vegas was scored by William Karlsson who picked up his 19th goal of the season and grabbing the assists are Jonathan Marchessault who picked up his 17th assist of the season and also grabbing the assist Shea Theodore who picked up his 16th assist of the season.

Maple Leafs scored two more to make 6 to one

The Maple Leafs score two more goal in the second period during the halfway mark of the end of the period the first goal of the second period happened at the eleven minute mark and 44 seconds and was scored Max Domi who picked up his seventh goal of the season and was assisted by Simon Benoit who picked up his third assist of the season and also grabbing an assist was Mitchell Marner who also picked up an assist and it was his 47th assist of the season.

Three minutes and eight seconds later the Maple Leafs scored another goal this time it was scored by Pontus Holmberg who recorded his third goal of the season and was unassisted as well the time of the goal was at 15 minutes and 36 seconds.

Vegas outscored the Maple Leafs in third period but was not enough

The Golden Knights in the third period scored two goals and outshot the Maple Leafs two to one in the third period of the game. The three goals the Golden Knights scored in the game did not help them and get back into the game. The first goal of the period was less then one minute and was scored by Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his 29th goal of the season and it was assisted by Shea Theodore who recorded his 17th assist of the season and also getting the assist was Brendan Brisson who recorded his third assist of the season the time of the goal was 59 seconds.

Shortly after the goal from Marchessault another goal happen this time it was scored by Michael Amadio who recorded his tenth goal of the season and he was assisted by Ivan Barbashev who picked up his 21st assist of the season and also grabbing an assist was Chandler Stephenson his 22nd assist of the season. The time of the goal was one minute and 25 seconds.

Matthews unstoppable

Auston Matthews is unstoppable for the Maple Leafs last night was the fastest to score 50 goals as American and it only took him 54 games and he passed Kevin Stevens recorded only by seven games. Matthews scored another goal tonight versus the Golden Knights and recorded his 52nd goal of the season. The player who got the assist was Pontus Holmberg who recorded his seventh assist of the season and Mitchell Marner recorded his 48th assist of the season. The time of the goal was ten minutes and 35 seconds.
