Quiet first period for both teams for scoring
Both teams didn’t score any goals in the first period and Panthers had 20 shots on goal and the Vegas Golden Knights had three shots on goal. During the first period also there was a fight between Keegan Kolesar and Ryan Lomberg and it was at the eleven minute mark and 55 seconds.
Second period both teams scoring two a piece
Vegas got on the board first to score a goal and it was at one minute and 21 seconds and was scored by Mark Stone who recorded his eleventh goal of the season and was assisted by Ivan Barbashev who recorded his ninth assist of the season.
The Panthers tied the game with a goal to make the score one to one. The goal was scored by Sam Bennett who recorded his fifth goal of the season and was assisted by Carter Verhaeghe who recorded his 12th assist of the season and also picking up an assist was Brandon Montour who recorded his fourth assist of the season. The time of the goal was eight minutes and 58 seconds.
The Panthers took the lead at around the 15 minute mark. This goal made the game two to one Panthers making the Golden Knights down by one goal. The goal was scored by Gustav Forsling who recorded his fourth goal of the season and was assisted by Aleksander Barkov who recorded his 20th assist of the season. The time of the goal was 15 minutes and 16 seconds.
The Golden Knights tied the game at close to the end of the period and made the score tied two to two after two periods. The goal was scored by Pavel Dorofeyev his third goal of the season and was assisted by Ben Hutton who recorded his eighth assist of the game and also getting an assist is Keegan Kolesar who is recording his fourth assist of the season. The time of the goal was 19 minutes and 37 seconds.
Third period all Panthers
The Panthers scored two goals to put away the game and out of reach for the Golden Knights. The first goal happened at six minutes and ten seconds. That goal was scored by Carter Verhaeghe who recorded his 16th goal of the season and his goal was assisted by Brandon Montour who recorded his second assist in the game and his fifth of the season. Also picking up the assist is Matthew Tkachuk who recorded two assists in the game but his first assist was this goal and was his 18th of the season.
The next goal for the Panthers happened in the eighth minute of the third period. The goal was scored by Sam Reinhart who recorded his 19th goal of the season and was assisted by Aleksander Barko who picked up his second assist in the game and his 21st assist of the season. The other assist is Matthew Tkachuk who had his second assist in the game and 19th in the season.
Towards the end of the game both teams got into each other and it resulted in a five player misconduct penalty but that penalty happened at the 20 minute mark.
