Golden Knights started off hot
The Vegas Golden Knights tonight started the game on a good note by scoring in the first period at the eight minute and 53 second mark. That goal for Vegas was scored by Jonathan Marchessault this was Marchessault first goal in the game and he will have one more in the game. Marchessault’s first goal was assisted by Jack Eichel who got his 16 assist in the game and Thompson the team goalie with his second assist. You heard that right a goalie is getting assist on this game.
Second period still scoreless for Washington as Vegas scores another goal
The Vegas Golden knights scored again this time it was close to the eight minute mark for them. The actual time of the goal was at seven minutes and 56 seconds scored by Jack Eichel and was assisted by Ben Hutton, his third assist this season. The Golden Knights after two periods holding onto a shoutout against the Capitals.
Vegas scores two goals and Capitals finally got on the board.
Vegas scored early in the third period and it was super early for them less than one minute into the third period they scored. The goal was scored forty nine seconds into the third period and it was scored by Mark Stone who was assisted by Jack Eichel who got his 17 assist in the game Ivan Barbashev assisted in the goal, his fourth goal of the season.
Then almost 17 minutes into the game the Capitals finally got on to the board and scored their only goal in the game. It was at the 16 minute and 47 second mark when Washington’s own Tom Wilson scored the goal. Wilson’s goal was assisted by Dylan Strome who made his third assist in the game and the second person who got assist was John Carlson who is at 13th assist this season. Vegas answered back, scoring their last goal game to put the game out of reach.
The time of the goal was 18 minutes and three seconds. Jonathan Marchessault scored his second goal of the game. He was assisted by Paul Cotter who is at his fifth assist of the season and William Karlsson with the assist as well. This is Karlsson’s 12th assist in this season.
