The Vegas Golden Knights got onto the board halfway through the first period of the game. The Golden Knights goal was scored by Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his 28th goal of the season and was assisted by Nicolas Roy who recorded his 20th assist of the season also grabbing an assist from Ivan Barbashev who recorded his 19th assist of the season. The time of the goal was at ten minutes and 15 seconds and was a backhanded goal.

Hurricanes tie the game

The Hurricanes got on the board in the second period scoring really early to tie the game and it was the only goal they scored in the second period. The goal for the Hurricanes was scored by Andrei Svechnikov who recorded his 12th goal of the season and was assisted by Seth Jarvis who recorded his 26th assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist was Brett Pesce who recorded his fifth assist of the season. The time of the goal was one minute and 21 seconds.

Third Period all Hurricanes

The Hurricanes scored two goals in the third period one early one and one within six minutes in the period. The first goal of the period for the Hurricanes was a shorthanded goal for them and was scored by Seth Jarvis who recorded his 18th goal of the season. Jarvis’s goal was assisted by Jordan Staal who recorded his 13th assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist for the goal was Brady Skjei who recorded his 23rd assist of the season. The time of the goal was 19 seconds. The next goal was scored six minutes after the first one of the period was scored for the Hurricanes.

This goal for the Hurricanes was a backhanded goal scored by Stefan Noesen who recorded his 12th goal of the season. Grabbing the assists are Jesperi Kotkaniemi who picked up his tenth assist of the season and also Martin Necas who also assisted the goal and grabbed his 22nd assist of the season. The time of the goal was six minutes and 12 seconds.
