The San Jose Sharks are signing veteran Tyler Toffoli to a four-year contract worth $24 million, multiple outlets reported Monday.
The Sharks will be the 32-year-old center’s seventh team.
Toffoli netted 33 goals and 22 assists in 79 games split between New Jersey and Winnipeg last season. It marked his second consecutive 30-goal season.
Toffoli, who won a Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2014, has 521 career points (260 goals, 261 assists) with six teams, most notably the Kings (2012-20), who selected him in the second round of the 2010 draft.
The Jets acquired Toffoli from the Devils in exchange for two draft picks just ahead of the trade deadline in March.
Toffoli’s 4-year deal worth $17 million expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.
