Quiet game for Vegas
The Vegas Golden Knights couldn’t score a goal on the Coyotes and Connor Ingram. Both teams didn’t score in the first period and it was quiet for them. Vegas outshot the Coyotes 13 to five. During the second period both teams didn’t score either. It was quiet for 40 minutes for both teams and Vegas had the shot advantage seven to five.
The two goals by Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes got two goals on Vegas and they happened to score two in the third period. The first goal scored by the Coyotes was Clayton Keller within the ten minutes into the third period. The second goal was an empty net goal for the Coyotes with a minute left of regulation. That goal was scored by Lawson Crouse for the Coyotes.
Next for Vegas
The Vegas Golden Knights will have a three game road trip in Canada that will take place on Monday. The first game will be against the Calgary Flames. Then on Tuesday they will hit the road after the game from Monday to travel to Edmonton to face off the Edmonton Oilers. Then the Golden Knights will end the month of November in Vancouver to face off against the Vancouver Canucks. Vegas will return home for a two game homestand to open the month of December. The first match up in December will be against the Washington Capitals. Then they will have an off day on Sunday then play Monday against St. Louis and it will be the St. Louis Blues then they will travel to St. Louis to play the Blues on Wednesday.
Standings update
The Vegas Golden Knights are now the third best record in this season. They are just behind the New York Rangers who have the best record and then followed by the Boston Bruins who have the second best record in the NHL.
