Ducks 5 – Golden Knights 2
First period all Ducks Golden knight got froze
The Anaheim Ducks went guns out scoring with four goals in the first period. The Vegas Golden Knights couldn’t score and had ten shots on goal in the first period.
The first goal of the period was for the Ducks and was scored by Brett Leason who recorded his fifth goal of the season and was assisted by Cam Flower who recorded his 14th assist of the season and his first of two of the game and also picking up an assist is Adam Henrique who recorded his ninth assist of the season. The time of this goal was three minutes and 23 seconds. This goal was Leason’s first of two goals in the game.
The second goal for the Ducks was scored by Jamie Drysdale who recorded his first goal of the season and the two players that grabbed assists in this goal of Drysdale was Mason McTavish who recorded his 13th assist of the season and his first of three assists in the game. Also grabbing an assist in the game was Ryan Strome who recorded his 16th assist of the season. The time of this goal was eight minutes and 23 seconds respectively.
The Ducks didn’t stop there with scoring they scored two more into this first period making the Golden Knights down four entering the second period. The other two goals for the Ducks but the first one that put the Ducks up three to nothing was scored by Frank Vatrano who recorded his 16th goal of the season and was assisted by Mason McTavish who recorded his second assist of the game and 13th of the season. Also getting an assist in the game was Ilya Lyubushkin who recorded his fourth assist of the season and the time of the goal was at eleven minutes and 38 seconds respectively.
The last goal of the period for the Ducks was scored by Troy Terry who recorded his ninth goal of the season and was assisted by Alex Killorn who picked up his ninth assist of the season and also getting his second assist of the season was Trevor Zegras and the time of the goal was 12 minutes and 34 seconds respectively.
Vegas got on the board second period but not enough
The Golden Knights finally got on the board and scored but it was only two goals and not enough for them to come back in. The Vegas Golden Knights goal came by Alec Martinez who is recording his fourth goal of the season and was assisted by Paul Cotter who picked up his ninth assist of the season. The time of this goal was seven minutes and 23 seconds.
Five minutes and eleven seconds later the Vegas Golden Knights scored another goal to make the lead cut in half for the Ducks making it four to two Ducks. This goal for The Golden Knights was scored by Mark Stone who is recording his 12th goal of the season and grabbing the assists in the goal was William Karlsoon who is recording his 17th assist of the season and also getting an assist was Jonathan Marchessault who is recording his tenth assist of the season.
The Ducks scored one more goal to put the game out of reach for the Vegas Golden Knights and scored the fifth goal of the game for them. The goal was scored by Brett Leason who recorded his second goal in the game and his sixth of the season and he was assisted by Mason McTavish who recorded three assists in the games and his 14th of the season. Another player that got an assist was Cam Flower who recorded his 15th assist of the season.
Third Period quiet for both teams
Both teams didn’t score a goal during this period ending the game Ducks winning five to two making the Golden Knights now have lost four straight games. The shots on goals for both teams are one digit numbers first the Golden Knights had nine shots on goal and the Ducks had eight shots on goal. This road trip the Golden Knights had them losing four straight games and they returned home to turn around within 24 hours to play the Los Angeles Kings at home.
