Panthers 4 -Golden Knights 1
Both teams scored one goal a piece in first period
The Golden Knights were the first team to score in the first period and it was an early one for them and the game was almost at the four minute mark. The goal for the Golden Knights was scored by Pavel Dorofeyev who recorded his fourth goal of the season and was assisted by Mark Stone who recorded his 26th assist of the season. The time of the goal was at three minutes and 59 seconds. This was the only goal for the Vegas Golden Knights in the game.
The Panthers scored in the early 14 minute mark. This goal for the Florida Panthers was a power play goal and was scored by Sam Bennett who recorded his seventh goal of the season and was assisted by Oliver Ekman-Larsson who recorded his 12th assist of the season and also grabbing assist in the goal for the Panthers was Aaron Ekblad who recorded his seventh assist of the season. The time of the goal was 14 minutes and 15 seconds.
All Panthers second period with two goals
The Panthers scored two goals to make the lead three to one and made the Golden Knights down by two. The first goal in the period was a power play goal for them at the six minute mark. The goal was scored by Matthew Tkachuk who recorded his seventh goal of the season and two players got the assist on the play.
The first person who got an assist was Brandon Montour who recorded his sixth assist of the season and the first of two assists in the game. The second player getting an assist was Sam Reinhart who recorded his 22nd assist in the season. The time of the goal was six minutes and 15 seconds.
The next goal for the Panthers happened towards the end of the period and was at the 18 minute mark. The goal was scored by Carter Verhaeghe who recorded his 20th goal of the season and two players got assists on this goal. Third Period goal for Panthers put game out reach for Vegas
The Panthers added another goal early in the third period at the five minute mark making the game a four to one game and making the game a three goal lead over the Golden Knights. The Panthers goal was scored by Sam Reinhart who recorded his 25th assist of the season and there were two players getting the assist on the goal.
The first player getting an assist was Matthew Tkachuk who recorded his 23rd assist in the season. Also grabbing an assist was Carter Verhaeghe who recorded his 16th assist this season. The time of the goal was five minutes and 23 seconds. This goal for the Panthers was a Power Play Goal.
