Both team scores one goal
The Golden Knights started the game early with a goal in the game within the six minutes. The goal was scored by Jack Eichel who recorded his 17th goal of the season and his first of two goals in the game. Picking up the assist in the goal was Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his eleventh assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist in the goal was Alex Pietrangelo who recorded his 15th assist of the season. The time of the goal was at six minutes and 25 seconds.
About five minutes later the Islanders scored the tying goal in the eleven minute mark. This goal for the Islanders was scored by Mathew Barzal who recorded his eleventh goal of the season and was assisted by Bo Horvat who recorded his 23rd assist of the season and also grabbing assist in the goal was Anders Lee who recorded his sixth assist of the season. The time of the goal was eleven minutes and 13 seconds.
All Vegas second period
The Golden Knights scored two goals in the period and were really late ones toward the end of the period for them. The first goal for the Golden Knights in the second period was scored by Pavel Dorofeyev who recorded his fifth goal of the season and grabbing the assists were Chandler Stephenson who recorded his 13th assist of the season. The other player grabbed an assist from the goal Mark Stone who recorded his 27th assist of the season. The time of the goal was 17 minutes and eleven seconds.
A minute and 30 seconds later the Golden Knights scored another goal in the period and was scored by Nicolas Roy who recorded his sixth goal of the season and his first of two goals in the game. There were two players grabbing an assist in the period. Brett Howden was the first player to grab an assist in the goal Howden recorded his seventh assist in the season. The other player grabbing an assist is Keegan Kolesar who recorded his fifth assist of the season. This is his first of two assists in the game. This goal was reviewed for goaltending interference but the call stood and was a goal.
Three goals in third period two which are Vegas Goals
The Vegas Golden Knights started the third period with an early goal before even the one minute mark. The first goal for the Golden Knights in the third period was scored by Jack Eichel who recorded his second goal in the game and his 18th goal of the season. Grabbing the assist in the goal was Lukas Cormier who recorded his first assist of the season. This goal for the Golden Knights was a power play goal. The time of the goal was 31 seconds.
The second goal in the period was scored by the New York Islanders making the game score Golden Knights four and Islanders two. This goal was the Islanders last goal in the game.
