The Bleacher Brothers this time got a hold of someone to be assigned a game for the Vegas Golden Knights and this individual is the horse expect of Bleacher Brothers Joe Quillen the host of the Philly Guy Speaks Podcast. Bleacher Brothers want to thank Joe Quillen for the pictures and staying in Vegas to get these action shots.
Both teams scoring in the first period
The Vegas Golden Knights started the game off with a goal with 22 seconds in the beginning of the game before every fan took a seat and enjoyed the action and there was a goal already happening. This goal was scored by Jonathan Marchessault who recorded his 27th goal of the season and was assisted by Nicolas Roy who recorded his 19th assist of the season and also grabbing the assist was Alex Pietrangelo who picked up his 22nd assist of the season and his first two assists in the game on his 1000th NHL game of his career.
The Minnesota Wild tied the game with a power play goal making the score one a piece. This goal for the Wild was scored by Mats Zuccarello who recorded his ninth goal of the season and was assisted by Kirill Kaprizov who recorded his 28th assist of the season also grabbing an assist was Ryan Hartman who recorded his eleventh assist of the season. The time of the goal was at ten minutes and 48 seconds.
Just in two minutes and 41 seconds the Wild took the lead of the game scoring another goal making the game two to one Wild. This goal for the Wild was scored by Joel Eriksson Ek who recorded his 22nd goal of the season. Grabbing the assists of the goal was Matt Boldy who recorded his 19th assist of the season. The other assist was Kirill Kaprizov who recorded his 29th assist of the season. The time of the goal was 12 minutes and nine seconds.
The Golden Knights scored a Power Play goal late into the first minutes near the 18 minute mark. This goal for the Golden Knights was scored by Michael Amadio who recorded his seventh goal of the season. Neither team scored second period
The Wild nor the Golden Knights scored any goals in the second period. The Wild on the other hand went to the penalty box three times in this period. The first person going into the box for the Wild was Joel Eriksson Ek for tripping up Alex Pietrangelo. Then the second penalty for the Wild was on Brandon Duhaime for interfering with Daniil Miromanov in the period. The last player going into the box in the period was Marcus Johansson for interfering with Mark Stone.
Wild with Wild and scoring three goals in third period
The Golden Knights struggled to score more than one goal in the period compared to the Wild three goals that happened. The Wild’s first goal in the period made the Wild up three to two. This goal Marco Rossi who recorded his 14th goal of the season. Rossi’s goal was assisted by Matt Boldy who recorded his 20th assist of the season also grabbing an assist was Brock Faber who recorded his 28th assist of the season. The time of the goal was six minutes and 28 seconds.
Less than one minute and one second later the Wild scored another goal in the period and was scored by Matt Boldy who recorded his 18th goal of the season grabbing the assist from this goal was Ryan Hartman who recorded his 12th assist of the season also grabbing an assist was Brock Faber who recorded his 29th assist of the season. The time of the goal was seven minutes and 29 seconds.
Vegas Golden Knights finally got on the board in the third period to cut the lead down to one making the game four to three and this goal was scored by Mark Stone who recorded his 16th goal of the season. Recording the assist of the goal that Stone scored was Chandler Stephenson who picked up his 20th assist of the season. Also grabbing the assist of the season Zach Whitecloud who grabbed his fourth assist of the season. The time of the goal was at nine minutes and 40 seconds.
The Wild towards the end of the game put the nail in the coffin with an empty net goal that was scored by Joel Eriksson Ek who recorded his 23rd goal of the season and the time of the goal was at 19 minutes and 38 seconds.
