Both Teams scored two goals in first period
The Blue Jackets started the game by scoring the first two goals in the period; the first goal happened shortly after the five minute mark. The goal was scored by Justin Danforth to pick up his tenth goal of the season and the goal was assisted by Sean Kuraly who picked up his seventh assist of the season and also grabbing an assist was Zach Werenski who recorded his 33rd assist of the season. The time of the goal was six minutes and 16 seconds.
During the 13th minute the Blue Jackets scored another goal and was scored by Alexander Nylander who recorded his second goal of the season and his first of three goals in the game. The goal was assisted by Alexandre Texier who picked up his eleventh assist of the season and also grabbing an assist was Ivan Provorov who recorded his 22nd assist of the season. The time of the goal was 13 minutes and eleven seconds.
The Golden Knights got on the board late during the period and it was towards the end of the period. The first goal they scored was by Mason Morelli who picked up his third goal of the season. Grabbing the assist was Byron Froese who got his first assist of the season. The time of the goal was 17 minutes and 19 seconds.
The second goal for the Vegas Golden Knights was scored by William Karlsson who picked up his 22nd goal of the season and was assisted by Chandler Stephenson who picked up his 24th assist of the season. Blue Jackets score the only goal in second period
The Columbus Blue Jackets scored the only goal of the second period at the 17 minutes and 22 seconds by Erik Gudbranson who recorded his fourth goal of the season. The goal was assisted
by Johnny Gaudreau his 35th assist of the season. Also grabbing an assist was Boone Jenner who picked up his tenth assist of the season.
Blue Jackets got three goals and the Golden Knights one goal was not enough
The Blue Jackets scored the first goal of the third period and Alexander Nylander picked up his third goal of the season and his second goal of the game. The goal was assisted by Cole Sillinger picked up his 13th assist of the season. The time of the goal was three minutes and 23 seconds.
Golden Knights only goal in period
The Golden Knights scored the only goal in the third period and it was scored by Chandler Stephenson who picked up his 14th goal of the season the players that assisted the goal was Shea Theodore who picked up his 24th assist of the season and the other person was Michael Amadio who picked up his 13th assist of the season. The time of the goal was at ten minutes and 16 seconds.
Blue Jackets scored two goals one off empty net makes hat trick
The second goal for the third period for the Blue Jackets was scored by Yegor Chinakho who picked up his 16th goal of the season and was assisted by Kirill Marchenko who picked up his 15th assist of the season and the other person getting an assist was Jake Bean who picked up his seventh assist of the season.
