Report: Vikings DT Harrison Phillips agrees to 2-year extension

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Harrison Phillips has agreed to a two-year contract extension worth up to $19 million with more than $13 million guaranteed, NFL Network reported on Tuesday.

Phillips, 28, has started all 35 games in which he has played since signing a three-year contract with the Vikings in 2022. He is now locked in with the team through the 2026 season.

Phillips recorded a sack and five tackles during Sunday’s season-opening 28-6 win against the New York Giants.

A 2023 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, Phillips has totaled 263 tackles, seven sacks and four fumble recoveries in 80 career games (46 starts) with the Buffalo Bills (2018-21) and Vikings.
