Three-time Pro-Bowl safety Jamal Adams is visiting the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, ESPN reported.
Adams, 28, was released by the Seattle Seahawks on March 5 in a cost-cutting move. He was due a base salary of $16.5 million in 2024 and carried a cap hit of $26.9 million, per Spotrac.
The Ravens feature Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams as starting safeties with little depth behind them.
Adams made nine starts in 2023 and recorded 48 tackles. The 2017 first-round pick (sixth overall) has posted 494 tackles, 21.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles and four interceptions in 80 games (all starts) with the New York Jets (2017-19) and Seahawks (2020-23).
After recording 9.5 sacks in his first season with Seattle in 2020, Adams sustained a season-ending injury in Week 12 of the 2021 season and played in only 10 total games the past two years.
