Ravens pull away from Steelers to punch playoff ticket

Lamar Jackson passed for three touchdowns, Derrick Henry rushed for 162 yards on 24 carries and the Baltimore Ravens clinched an AFC playoff spot with a 34-17 victory over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.

Marlon Humphrey returned an interception for a touchdown as Baltimore (10-5) defeated Pittsburgh for just the second time in the past 10 meetings. Isaiah Likely, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews caught scoring passes and Zay Flowers had five receptions for 100 yards.

Jackson completed 15 of 23 passes for 207 yards and was intercepted once while improving to 2-4 as a starter against the Steelers.

Russell Wilson was 22-of-33 passing for 217 yards, two touchdowns and one interception as Pittsburgh (10-5) missed a chance to clinch the AFC North. MyCole Pruitt and Cordarrelle Patterson caught scoring passes for the Steelers, who already possess a playoff spot.

Pittsburgh receiver George Pickens (hamstring) missed his third straight game.

Henry had 65 rushing yards — 31 coming on one rush — when Baltimore lost 18-16 to host Pittsburgh on Nov. 17.

The Steelers tied the score at 17 on Wilson’s 12-yard touchdown pass to Patterson with 5:14 left in the third quarter.

Baltimore moved back ahead on Jackson’s 7-yard touchdown throw to a wide-open Andrews.

A 44-yard dash by Henry put the Ravens on the Pittsburgh 11-yard line early in the fourth quarter. But Jackson was intercepted by Minkah Fitzpatrick as the Steelers temporarily stymied Baltimore’s bid to take a two-score lead.

Two plays later, Wilson rolled out via bootleg and made a poor throw that Humphrey corralled and returned 37 yards for a score to give the Ravens a 31-17 lead with 13:06 left in the game.

Justin Tucker tacked on a clinching 23-yard field goal with 3:10 left.

Jackson threw two touchdowns in the first half to help the Ravens hold a 17-10 lead.

Jackson tossed a 9-yard scoring pass to Likely with 5:52 left in the first quarter.

Pittsburgh knotted the score on the first play of the second quarter when Wilson threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Pruitt.

Baltimore took a 14-7 lead on Jackson’s 14-yard touchdown pass to Bateman with 7:28 left in the half.

Tucker kicked a 51-yard field goal to give the Ravens a 10-point lead with 1:43 remaining. Chris Boswell booted his own 51-yarder as time expired to bring the Steelers within seven.
