NFL Power Rankings (10/15)

32. New England Patriots (1-5)

Another loss for the Patriots, Drake Maye had a decent start however for his NFL debut. His touchdown throw to Kayshon Boutte couldn’t have been placed better.

31. Tennessee Titans (1-5)

Titans coach Brian Callahan said it best, to be good in the NFL you need to have a passing game. Will Levis and Calvin Ridley have been hard to watch so far this year.

30. Cleveland Browns (1-5)

The worst contract in NFL history? It has to be the Watson contract, Cleveland is screwed for years to come.

29. Carolina Panthers (1-5)

The Panthers continue to lose by large margins. There isn’t much to say about them, they are no better than they have been the last few years despite the coaching change and investments in the offense.

28. Miami Dolphins (2-3)

The Dolphins move up in the power rankings due to Tua Tagovailoa and Bradley Chubb expected to be back in 2024, as well as them figuring out a plan on how to play without their stars. They played well against the Patriots.

27. Las Vegas Raiders (2-4)

Davante Adams is now out of Vegas, look out for them to trade star pass rusher Maxx Crosby as well. This team is entering full rebuild mode now.

26. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5)

Doug Pederson and his staff are losing the trust of his football team. Don’t be surprised to see him fired by the end of the year. Neither the offense nor defense played well on Sunday morning.

25. New York Giants (2-4)

This team is pretty well coached but has a lack of star power. GM Joe Schoen has a big offseason coming up, which is sad to say in October.

24. Las Angeles Rams (1-4)

This Rams team has good players and a good coaching staff, they can turn their season around and have a chance at a wildcard spot.

23. New Orleans Saints (2-4)

Four losses in a row for the Saints, the good news is that rookie Spencer Rattler had an exciting debut. Rattlers first completion of his NFL career was over 20 yards. His receivers were fumbling the ball and he still gave his team a chance to win the game.

22. Indianapolis Colts (3-3)

The Colts pulled out a win, it was against the worst team in the NFL however. They are also benching Joe Flacco and going back to Anthony Richardson. I am not sure this is a good decision for them if they want to win football games.

21. Las Angeles Chargers (3-2)

The Chargers are in a similar situation as the Steelers, they are gritty and can play good defense with good coaching. Until they get more explosive playmakers on offense they will be a middle of the pack football team.

20. Cincinnati Bengals (2-4)

A win is a win, and the Bengals need every win they can get. Any time a defense can hold the opposing team to 7 points it’s a good thing, and with the Bengals offense it ensures a win. The defense stepped up big time.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)

The Steelers played their best football game of all year, complimentary football in all phases. They are turning to Russell Wilson now to hopefully have a more consistent passing game.

18. Denver Broncos (3-3)

Close loss to the Chargers, but the Broncos are still young and tough. They will win some more games this year and have a promising future.

17. Seattle Seahawks (3-3)

The Seahawks have dropped three in a row, this time on Thursday night football to a division rival. What was concerning was the defensive performance, the 49ers have a good offense but giving up 36 points to them without their best weapon is inexcusable.

16. New York Jets (2-4)

The Jets had every chance to beat the Bills at home last night. A trade for Davante Adams should give them a spark in the passing game at the very least.

15. Arizona Cardinals (2-4)

The Packers put it on the Cardinals this Sunday. Ouch, rough defensive outing for Arizona. They are super hit or miss, one week they will lock down Brock Purdy and the next they will let Jordan Love throw all over them.

14. Dallas Cowboys (3-3)

The Cowboys didn’t even put up a fight against the Lions. The Lions clearly took their loss to Dallas personally last year. Ouch.

13. Chicago Bears (4-2)

The Bears are starting to develop an identity of their own, and Caleb Williams is getting better and better. They will be competing for a playoff spot.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (3-2)

This is one of those situations where I don’t even know if you can say “A win is a win”. The Eagles looked poor against a bad Cleveland Browns team. Cleveland has been lifeless this year and the Eagles did not come close to blowing them out.

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2)

The Buccaneers defense didn’t look impressive, but man Baker Mayfield has been slinging it this year. Turnovers were an issue on Sunday but that fault is not fully placed on him. The offense is good under his control.

10. Atlanta Falcons (4-2)

The Falcons continue to keep the ball rolling. Another explosive offensive performance. Kirk Cousins is a natural fit with them.

9. San Francisco 49ers (3-3)

Brock Purdy and the offense looked great against a respectable Seahawks defense, even without CMC they are playing at a very high level.

8. Washington Commanders (4-2)

Close loss on the road for the Commanders against Baltimore, they have a good football team. Jayden Daniels is explosive and he has weapons. The defense needs to play better, but Baltimore is a tough ask to defend.

7. Buffalo Bills (4-2)

The Bills did something they couldn’t do last year, beat the Jets on the road. The Jets shot themselves in the foot completely, but Buffalo took advantage. Mack Hollins looked great for Buffalo, he was a redzone weapon for them.

6. Green Bay Packers (4-2)

Wow, Green Bay has an offense and defense that can compete with almost everyone in the NFL. Jordan Love looked great, he might win the MVP by the end of the year. Matt LaFleur and new Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley are a great match for each other.

5. Houston Texans (5-1)

The Texans are a well oiled machine, there were a few mental mistakes from some Texans players but overall they are well coached and have great football players. They play hard and physical. CJ Stroud played a great game against New England.

4. Baltimore Ravens (4-2)

The Ravens took care of business against Washington. They are firing on all cylinders now after a slow start to the season.

3. Minnesota Vikings (5-0)

The Vikings were on bye this week, they have a MASSIVE test this Sunday against division rival Detroit.

2. Detroit Lions (4-1)

The Lions are stone cold, they beat the breaks off the Cowboys. A win against Minnesota on Sunday and they might be moved up to the number 1 spot.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)

The Kansas City Chiefs were on bye, they play the 49ers this Sunday, a superbowl matchup is going to be exciting to watch. If the Chiefs can pass this test they will stay at number 1 in the power rankings. We can only wait and see.
