Reigan Richardson collected 19 points and seven rebounds as No. 13 Duke beat visiting Columbia 77-61 on Sunday in Durham, N.C.
Richardson shot 8-of-14 from the floor to lead the Blue Devils (8-1) to their fifth consecutive victory. Duke also got 10 points apiece from Delaney Thomas, Toby Fournier and Vanessa de Jesus, the latter of whom also dished out a game-high six assists.
Kitty Henderson powered Columbia (6-3) with 20 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Riley Weiss had 15 points.
The Lions had a 7-4 lead early in the first quarter, but Duke never trailed again after breaking off an 18-6 run that included six layups. The Blue Devils went up by 20 after beginning the fourth quarter on a 12-4 run, powered by six points from Ashlon Jackson.
Duke plays at No. 4 South Carolina on Thursday in the second annual ACC-SEC Challenge. Columbia hosts San Francisco on Wednesday.
