Boca Raton, FL.- In less then 10 weeks, FAU Owls football returns to Paradise!

After a long off-season full of anticipation and excitement, we are mere weeks away from FAU’s season opener against Michigan State. Year two of the Tom Herman era is projected to be a breakout season for the rebuilt Owls, as FAU plans on capitalizing on a “weak” pre-season strength of schedule. FAU is currently listed at 129/134 in terms of strength of schedule.

With football’s summer workouts beginning in the coming days, I’d like to sit down and boldly predict Florida Atlantic’s 2024-25 season!

Author’s Note: Following a deep transfer class filled with stars from across college football’s finest programs, I believe FAU is going to be a legit American Conference threat during year two in the AAC. The Owls have the coaching, they have the talent, and they have the schedule, which should bear their first bowl appearance since 2020.

FAU should easily be categorized in the second tier of AAC teams, alongside UAB UTSA and USF. I will also boldly predict that Florida Atlantic will compete amongst the likes of Memphis and Tulane for the coveted #2 Seed in the Conference.

Key additions for the Owls include: QB Cam Fancher (Marshall), RB CJ Campbell (Florida State), WR Milan Tucker (App. State), DL Wilky Denaud (Auburn), DL Bryce Langston (LSU), IOL Daughtry Richardson (FSU), DB Philip Dunham (Indiana).
