Donovan Starr, one of the top defensive backs in the 2025 recruiting class, will visit Michigan and Alabama, despite already having committed to play at Auburn, according to multiple reports Wednesday.
Starr reportedly will make an official visit to Michigan on Oct. 26 when the Wolverines host in-state rivals Michigan State. He reportedly also plans to visit Alabama, who made Starr an offer on Oct. 3.
Starr announced his commitment to play at Auburn in June, but Division I teams continue to scout him, with representatives from Illinois, Georgia State and Tennessee State in attendance at a recent Ravenwood game in Brentwood, Tenn.
The 6-foot, 176-pound standout has done nothing to dispel the notion that his mind can be changed.
“I’m pretty locked in (to Auburn) right now, but I’m definitely still open to a few schools,” Starr said earlier in October, according to Yahoo Sports. “I got a few more visits to take and then probably make my final decision in December.”
A four-star recruit who’s ranked the No. 14 player in Tennessee by 247Sports Composite, Starr visited Illinois in September, where he grew up before moving to Tennessee as a freshman.
