The Warriors bounced back and ended their six game losing streak at home versus the Rockets of Houston who is the fourth youngest team in the league. 

Thompson makes season history

Last night Klay Thompson recorded his first 20 point game and had his season high of 19 points on  October 29th against the same exact team. Thompson had his first 20 point game this season and has recorded five three pointers since the last time was against the same team.

Key Stats from the game

Some of the many key stats in the game are as follows. The Golden State Warriors recorded their 12th consecutive victory over the Rockets, making it the longest active-winning streak versus any opponent. Stephen Curry became the all time minutes played in Warriors history with over thirty thousand and 735 minutes played and passed Nate Thurmond who had thirty thousand and 729 minutes played.

During the game the Warriors had their 485 consecutive sold out games making it the longest in franchise history.  Chris Paul recorded a double double in the game and he had 15 points and 12 assists with one turnover in the game. Andrew Wiggins recorded seven rebounds in the game which is a season high for Wiggins. Kevon Looney has now played 208 consecutive regular season games and he also has played 243 consecutive games including the playoffs as well. Antwan Jamison has the record of 246 consecutive games including the playoffs. Looney is only three games away from tying this record and only four games to take the record.

Next for the Warriors

Warriors just wrapped up a six game homestead and are now hitting the run to go to Phoenix to play the Suns on Wednesday and they will return home on Friday to host the Spurs in their final in season game tournament home game. Then the Warriors will travel to Sacramento to play the Kings for an in season tournament game on the road next Tuesday.
