No slowing down for Warriors
The Warriors show no slowing down after the all star break winning another game making it a two game winning streak. The Warriors had no rust entering the game and their two all stars didn’t show any slowing down. Stephen Curry led the team with 32 points in the game Andrew Wiggins also made 20 points in the game for the Warriors The birthday boy for the Warriors was Trayce Jackson-Davis who turned 24 today and he scored 17 points on his birthday. The Golden State Warriors have now won nine of their last eleven games.
Hot beginning for Curry
After an eventful All star break for Curry he participated in the first ever NBA and WNBA three point contest and during the All Star game Curry had 16 points and eight assists in the All Star game. On the Warriors first possession he nailed a three pointer and later in the game Curry connected and made four of his first five three pointers in the game. Curry also scored 16 of the 24 points in the first quarter. But Curry’s best play of the game was when he performed a behind the back pass to Andrew Wiggins which ended up being an uncontested dunk for Wiggins.
Birthday Boy Trayce Jackson-Davis
One of the Warriors Rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis who turned 24 on Thursday had a performance but he didn’t have a lot of action during the first quarter but when he started the second quarter and started shooting making the team’s first 13 points in the second quarter. Jackson-Davis finished the game with 18 points.
Up Next for the Warriors
The Warriors are hosting the Charlotte Hornets who are coming into town and this will be the first meeting this season with the Hornets. The tip off time is expected to be seven PM pacific time. The Warriors are going to be going for their fourth win straight at home against the Hornets.
