Bulls 125 – Warriors 122
Key Information of the game
The Warriors tonight couldn’t tie the game versus the Bulls tonight with their final shot that was beyond half court, losing to the Bulls 125 to 122 at the Chase Center. Klay Thompson led the team with 25 points in the game with five of which were three pointers, while Draymond Green recorded his first triple double of the season with eleven points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists before he fouled out of the game.
Back in fourth First half
The Warriors led by as much as 13 points in the first quarter, but the Bulls led by DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic stormed all the way back giving the Bulls a four point lead at halftime. DeRozan and Vucevic each had 18 points in the half and Klay Thompson paced with 16 points with four three pointers in 14 minutes off the bench.
Green’s First Triple Double of the season
Draymond Green recorded his first ever triple double this season tallying up with eleven points, ten rebounds and 12 assists. Green is the Warriors all time leading in triple doubles with 32 of them. Green also recorded some defense stats with two blocks and a steal.
Curry Suffers Ankle Injury
Stephen Curry was limping to the locker room after he had apparently had a lower leg injury in the fourth quarter. Curry was ruled out for the rest of the game and he did not return to play. Curry had 15 points and was five for 18 in shooting.
Up next for the Warriors
The Warriors will be closing out the homestand versus the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. Then the Warriors will hit the road for three games with the first stop being in San Antonio to play the Spurs on Monday. Then on Wednesday the Warriors will play against the Dallas Mavericks then ending the road trip on Saturday the 16th versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Before returning home for three games.
