Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss Friday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors due to a left hamstring injury.
Antetokounmpo was listed as doubtful earlier in the day. However, Bucks coach Doc Rivers said during his pregame availability that the eight-time All-Star would miss the contest.
Also, star guard Damian Lillard (strained right adductor) was upgraded to available on Friday. He was previously listed as questionable.
Rivers indicated that he didn’t like the way Antetokounmpo looked during the second half of Wednesday’s 111-101 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP, is averaging 30.7 points and 11.5 rebounds in 71 games this season.
Lillard missed the previous three games.
Lillard, a seven-time All-Star, is averaging 24.4 points in 68 games in his first season with Milwaukee after being acquired from the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Bucks have lost four of their past five games.
