  1. Corbin Burnes vs. Los Angeles Angels

The Orioles ace entered Opening Day as the AL Cy Young favorite, facing the Angels for the first time since Shohei Ohtani’s departure. Burnes gave up one hit and one run off of a Mike Trout home run in the first inning and would settle in to put together an impressive first start with Baltimore. Burnes’ final statline was 6.0 IP | 1 H | 1 R | 0 BB | 11 K. Burnes now enters his next start with a 1.50 ERA.

  1. Shane Bieber vs. Oakland Athletics

Bieber created a lot of buzz around the league in the off season as a possible pitcher that could’ve been moved to a contender.
