We go for another winner here today after a 7/1 upset winner in yesterday’s QPW. Today, we are at Parx once again for their sixth race. We have what appears to be the open equivalent for yesterday’s fillies and mare race that I picked correctly, though my weather forecast was a bit incorrect.
Though my forecast was wrong, my picks have been spot on lately. After going one for four on Saturday, we are looking at our fourth straight day with a winner and third race in a row starting with the lone race we looked at on Sunday. Let’s see if we can continue this hot streak we have right now.
Parx Race 6 – Claiming $7500
Like yesterday, we do have a field of seven entered for today’s race. The 5 Last Romance (2/1 morning line) is favored in today’s race. He won first time off the claim here going this distance in the mud. He woke up two weeks ago going for the lower tag but returns to the claim price that he was at in October. Other than that race, he has been hit and miss this year on the track. But you do have a dangerous jock/trainer combination here.
The 2 Assembly Point (5/2 ML) had a race long duel and could not get by the winner two weeks ago here at Parx. He does look like he could be lone speed here in this race as he drops from the 10k tag that he raced for last time out. If he has the same race like last time, he should win by a couple of lengths, but did that race take something out of him?
The 6 Rackataptap (6/1 ML) has won two of three races since ending up at Parx. He is a closer here, but will he get something to close into here. If he does, he could do what Catti La Belle did yesterday.
The 1 El Hermano (3/1 ML) finished a belated fourth last time out here at Parx. He had been in the money five straight races before that race a few weeks ago. He could be not far off the pace and looking to take over in the stretch.

I think I am going to swing for the fences again. Rackataptap has a closing kick that will help him as the other horses tire in this race. El Hermano has the record that landed me on yesterday’s winner. But I am going for Rackataptap here in the sixth at Parx.
