Quills Picks Winners – Tuesday 11/5 – Finger Lakes Race 6

My fellow Americans, today we have voted on race 6 today at Finger Lakes as our race of the day. It was a tough decision, but it was either voting for this race going six furlongs or for “none of the above”.

Finger Lakes Race 6 – Claiming Race

The morning line maker at Finger Lakes endorses the 4 Ribbons and Medals (2/1 morning line). This seven-year-old gelding dropped in class to today’s level, albeit different race conditions and pretty much went gate to wire last time out. He will be near the pace again hoping to declare victory early today.

We do have a few horses that are waiting for those mail-in ballots to arrive and be counted. The 2 Tommy the Torch closed well last time out at this $5000 claiming price losing my a length last time out. He might be at the level here at Finger Lakes where he can make his race count today and claim victory today.

The 7 Norgay (5/1 ML) may be that third-party candidate that you are looking for today. He was wide throughout last time out and did not have a shot. There are less entrants in this election…I mean race, so he should have better guidance today.

Looking to steal the election is the 6 Double Shot (4/1 ML) who will look to swoop in and make you wonder “how did that happen?” Seriously though, he is another closer here that will have a great shot today.

Joe’s Endorsement…I mean pick

I am proud to endorse the 4 Ribbons and Medals today. He appears to be lone speed there and is a horse who found the right race and conditions to run in today. I’ll call this 4-2-7-6 and my play is $20 to win on the 4.

Best of luck to everyone, and oh yeah, I’m Joe Quills and I approve this message!
