After a nice 10/1 winner at Tampa Bay Downs, we try our luck on the east coast of Florida as we will look at Gulfstream Park today. Today we have older fillies and mares going a mile and 70 yards on the synthetic track.
Gulfstream Park Race 7 – Allowance Optional Claiming
The 5 She’s Fire (5/2 morning line) is the favorite in our featured race. She comes in from Tampa Bay Downs where she showed nothing on their main track. Three of her four wins are on synthetic tracks and will look to do so today. When she wins, she wins on the front end, which she will try to do today.
The 6 De Regreso (5/1 ML) showed little in the Pegasus World Cup Fillies and Mares Turf Invitational last time out. She returns here with some class relief and also goes from the turf to synthetic. She has run well on synthetic but has not been on this surface since last June. This filly looks like she will be near the front runners here today.
The 2 Nineteenamendment (9/2 ML) will challenge the favorite on the front end today. She has consistently gone for the lead, but the one race she could not get the led last September at Colonial Downs, she won. She would probably be better served to stalk, but she will go for the lead here.
The 4 She Prospers (3/1 ML) won her first two starts on the Gulfstream Tapeta surface but has not shown much in her last four races. She has faded in those races and looks to find her form on the synethetic.

De Regreso has a huge back class advantage here today, having faced some of the top horses at Saratoga and Gulfstream. But those races were on the turf. But she does have good synethetic form which will help her here today. With the speed up front, she will close into the leaders and win this race.
