Parx Racing Race 6
For Tuesday, we’re staying at Parx for the sixth race again, I’m still looking to break my maiden here with this segment of Bleacher Brothers, as I am now 0 for 11 right now after nine articles, one of which I tried to give you three options. I doubt I’ll reach Zippy Chippy levels who went 0-for-100 in his career.
We have a $7500 claiming race here as the feature today. I’m expecting wet conditions again on Tuesday though it wasn’t raining on Monday here in Philly. There are eight horses entered in the race here in Bensalem, PA.
I’m going to go with the 4 Lord Uhtred here. He’s been consistent the last three times out, and does have an excuse in his last race run on November 22, having been bumped at the start. A clean start should mean getting his picture taken in the paddock after the race.
For second, I’m going to the 1 Gimmebackmybullets. The amateur me from years ago would play this gelding on name alone as this is a great Lynyrd Skynyrd song. He’ll be on the rail, and I’m always skeptical about the rail at Parx, especially after rain. If he can get a few lanes over from the rail, he should have a nice trip.
For third I’m going with the 8 Porsupuesto. He’ll be on the outside here and probably near the back of the field. These are not great horses in the field, but a repeat of his race two weeks ago may be enough.
My selections are 4-1-8, and my play is $20 to win on the 4. Note, if my 4 is scratched, I’ll take the 1 for the same amount. If both are scratched, consider this an exercise in futility.
