FAU Lady Owls are NCAA Tournament Bound
Boca Raton, FL- The Florida Atlantic University Softball team has clinched the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016!
The Owls secured an At-Large bid in the tournament following a 41-14 (21-6 AAC) regular season and a regular season AAC championship! FAU was one of the hottest teams in the nation, led by lights out pitching and flashy hitting. Throughout the season, FAU showed they can do it all, earning their place among the ranks of college softball’s best.
Earlier this evening (May 12) FAU was selected to the NCAA Tournament where they will compete in the Gainesville Regional. The Owls are in a bracket with #4 University of Florida, South Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast University.
FAU’s first game will be against South Alabama on Friday, May 17. First pitch is at 2:30 EST. The game will be streamed on ESPN+
