Team Falcons and Crazy Raccoon swept into the upper-bracket final on Saturday at the Overwatch Champions Series 2024 Major in Dallas.
The Falcons dispatched Spacestation in three maps, and the Raccoon did likewise to the Toronto Defiant. Those winners will meet Sunday for a berth in the grand final later in the day.
Spacestation survived a lower-bracket match against M80 to advance to the lower-bracket semifinal on Saturday. They will be opposed by ENCE, which eliminated the Defiant.
All matches in the double-elimination playoff bracket are best-of-three.
The prize money ($200,000) will be spread among the participants. The top two teams will qualify for the Esports World Cup 2024 this summer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Falcons’ sweep consisted of wins on Ilios (2-1), Circuit Royal (5-4) and New Junk City (3-1). Kim “Proper” Dong-hyun of South Korea was named the match’s MVP.
The Raccoon won 2-0 on Ilios, a 2-1 on Circuit Royal and 3-1 on Hollywood. Park “Junbin” Jun-bin of South Korea took MVP honors.

M80 leveled the match with a 3-2 decision on New Junk City, but Spacestation took the clincher, New Queen Street, 128.09m to 32.03m. Hadi “Hadi” Bleinagel, a German/Lebanese player, was named the MVP.
