UFC featherweight Luis Pajuelo received a two-year suspension Thursday after failing multiple drug tests.
Pajuelo (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) violated the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, and Combat Sports Anti-Doping announced the 24-month ban.
The 29-year-old fighter tested positive for 19-norandrosterone and elevated levels of exogenous testosterone on Aug. 5 and Aug. 21. The suspension went into effect on Aug. 23.
Pajuelo earned his UFC shot with a first-round knockout of Robbie Ring on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2023.
The Peru native made his official debut with the promotion at UFC on ESPN 53 in Las Vegas on March 23 but lost via submission to Fernando Padilla at 2:45 of the first round.
