After the Vegas, Golden Knights lost their first game in overtime to the Chicago Blackhawks after hosting them the previous day and having a final score of four to three. The Los Angeles Kings came into this game after playing the Arizona Coyotes in Arizona with a final score five to four.
After a 2-1 record during their stay in California, the Carolina Hurricanes finished off their 6-game road trip with 2 more games out west & a game east. Unfortunately, a strong start to the road trip finished with an early-season skid.
