When the NFL preseason begins, a great event usually happens around that time. Some of pro football’s great & unsung heroes receive an induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
There are those divisions that have teams establishing dominance early and often…and then there is the NFC North which has been a wild roller coaster ride in and of itself. So now that we got ¾ of the AFC done, we now focus our attention on the NFC, namely the NFC North in this case.
We are taking a quick break from the AFC to focus on the NFC South. And we have two of the weakest divisions in the league to dissect. Yes, it may sound harsh, but looking at the eight teams that comprise these two divisions, wouldn’t you say the same. That being said, let’s start with the division voted the softest in the NFL, the NFC South.
Continuing our series on the divisions, we now focus on the AFC North. This division on paper should a three-team race in the form of Cincinnati, Baltimore and Cleveland. The Bengals have been on another level since Joe Burrow returned from injury and are obviously slated to be the team to beat not just in the division but also in the conference as well. But in reality, the Bengals will be the hardest team to take down in this division once again.
We start with the AFC East. With the NFL returning in a few weeks for preseason purposes, the barrage of predictions is coming in hard and fast. From Bills Mafia screaming that Josh Allen will bring the Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo to Cowboys Nation screaming that this is their year, the confidence of many starts to show for their respective teams.

Let’s start marking our calendars for Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and (for specific fan bases) Black Friday & the last 2 Saturdays of 2023. The 2023-24 NFL schedule has been released. While the status of some of these games might change (depending on records & injuries), I’m sure there are some games that have some mouth-watering intrigue for football fans all across America.
