Conference play began for FAU on Thursday night and after one game the Owls hit a bump in the road.
The AAC schedule is here and FAU tips off the second portion of their season with a home tilt against Memphis, a matchup that has developed into a bit of a rivalry over the past 2 years.
FAU is back in action after a brief sabbatical and they will be greeted with one of their most important conference matchups of the season as #21 Memphis comes to town on January 2nd.

Florida Atlantic’s non conference schedule came to an unfortunate end on Saturday afternoon, as the Owls went into their Matchup with 20th ranked Michigan State playing some of their best basketball of the season but in this one they were no match for the Spartans.
